The Washington-Baltimore News Guild (WBNG) is the union for more than 3,000 media, non-profit, and labor union staff in the mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
Like 32BJ, WBNG represents members across different states and regions, and WBNG members work at prominent organizations that advance civil rights, workers’ rights, and social justice.
WBNG is one of the largest locals of The NewsGuild international union: the largest union of communications employees in North America, with more than 25,000 members.
The NewsGuild is part of the 700,000-member-strong Communications Workers of America (CWA), which is affiliated with the AFL-CIO.
